Anything but Shelter Woods

Over the last week, while I have been busy with work things, I managed to find a little time of the last couple nights to play some Dead by Daylight and having loads of fun doing so. I have enjoyed playing survivor, but I took some time and played the killer last night. My time as the killer was successful. I managed to 4-0 the match. That means no one was able to escape and I was able to sacrifice each player.

I will be working on a couple new designs this weekend with any luck and one of those would mean using Fusion 360 which I am very interested in using. I will also be sending a print to some lucky person so stay tuned.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thanks for stopping by.

Keep going

As we get farther into summer, the less time I seem to have. I imagine that has to do with the longer days. I am not complaining though because I like to stay busy and the extra light means I can work later and get more finished and if it lets me take care of a extra project for the day then being it on!

Speaking of projects I was able to get all the episodes set for release on YouTube! This was finished on Monday which make me happy since I do not have to worry about that anymore. I will be happier when I am able to do more than just show a boring static image though, but that will come soon enough though.

I have also been working with a company that looks like they may want some consulting and repair work. I will hopefully know more this week since it could be interesting, or they could be blowing smoke up my backside.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thanks for stopping by.

Another week, right back into the thick of things. This week we talk about Rafts, Skirts, and Brims, auto makers moving to 3d printed replacement parts, a free webinar about the different 3d printing technologies. There is also some talk on the new NES mini, and new dead by daylight features. We are also going to have a contest for some intro/outro music!

We are working on getting YouTube videos compiled as well, so you should see though older episodes popping up later this week!

To everyone who has took time to see if there was anything you could help with; it is appreciated, and thanks for your support.

Do the things!

The weeks seem to go by faster and faster in the summer. So many thing to do no matter where I turn. It does not matter if it is at work, at home, or with anything else I have going on. Podcast included. This is not a complaint, because there was a time when I would have liked to have had something to do, however I do wish I had more hours in the day to get it all done. No matter though, things move along, projects get finished, more get and added, and the cycle continues. It's all good and keeps me and my mind fresh.

Lately I find myself being called into my shop to get some projects started that I have been looking at for the last year. One of those projects is for my wife. It is one of those things that should have done a year ago, but the time has really helped me decide how I want to do design said item (yes I know I'm being vague mostly because it is a surprise and she reads this . - Hi honey!). I know I could have used 3d modeling software to help with this, but I find some things are more fun using the image I have in my head. That is generally how I do the Halloween props build. I will be sure to post progression shots as I start working on it.

I will be spending some time this Tuesday with the North Idaho Computer Users Group doing a 3d printing demonstration and discussion. This should be interesting, exciting, and a little frightening. This will be the first live thing I have done with 3d printing, though I do have more planned. The nice thing is that I was part of the group several years ago, but because of some life events it was one of those things I just had to stop going to. I have been in contact with the members from time to time, but it will be nice to attend a meeting again and see how things have been coming along. Come on by if you are in the area.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thanks for stopping by.

Episode 26: Never Print Me The Odds

Six months! Wow, it only feels like we started this a couple weeks ago. While we mark this episode with excitement, it is also marked with sadness. We are losing Andrew as a host. Some things came up in his personal life, and in order to deal with those he has had to make some sacrifices. No matter has happens we with him well. This does not mean the show is ending though! Joe will continue and episodes will be released on time as always.

Pains

This last week was a tough one. I spent the first few days dealing with depression. Just after I got over that, and about the time I started my weekend, Andrew dropped the bomb on me that he had to step down from the podcast. This was not expected but, as things go, was not the worse thing he could have told me. I wish him well, and hope everything gets better. I am sure the decision was not made lightly since he was just a part of the show as I am. The good news is that the show will still move on, though I will need to make sure adjustments not to mention get used to talking to myself. Who knows maybe the cats will help. They are... good... at that. So, while my work load will increase, I don't think it will be anything I can't handle.

Thank you everyone for their support, and thanks for stopping by.

Episode 25: My Morning Printer

No news talk this week. It is not that there was no news, it is that we took extra time to talk about our printers, their issues, the issues of one listener, and the resolutions to those problems. We took so much time that we did not really have extra time to talk about the news. We did manage to get a new Minecraft server and even have some special plans for next episode that deals with it. Other than Minecraft we talked a little about Overwatch and the desire to play some other games.

Thanks for your support. Those that have not done so please take a moment to follow us on SoundCloudTwitterYouTubeInstagram and/or

Who ordered the stress?

I have been wrapped up preparing for a new job opening at work, so I really don't have a bunch to say this week. My accomplishments otherwise what been a few multi-part prints that are not finished and I helped a user with some printer issues. Things should calm down in a day or so that way I can get back to printing and have more to say next week.

Aside from that all of the news for this week is below since we did not talk about any of that on the show.

Thanks for stopping by!
