Balance

There is a balance to all things, especially thing you do in your life. The key is how you handle it, and I am still trying to figure it out. There are times I think I have to many projects; yet I manage to keep things in line. I guess it come with age or a realization you need to stay focused. No matter what one it is, there are honestly days I feel like I am barely keeping things together but somehow I still manage. Anyways, enough on my struggles because these are all first world problems and if it really came down to brass tacks I could always make a choice and put a project on hold. Thankfully I don't have to do that now.

Thank you everyone for your support, and for stopping by.

Episode 35: It's Not a Printer

This week we cover 10 common 3D printer myths and misconceptions, talk about the future of Alan Moore, and even get into 3D printing law and copyright. Lots covered, which should be some good food for thought.

I would like to take Victor Berggren again for the music. It really is excellent, and I hope you enjoy your headset when it arrives. It is estimated that it will get to you here in a week or two, it just depends on customs.

Printers be printing

Just at the days come and go, the 3d printing industry does not stop. When I first started doing the podcast I was worried that I would not have enough content to talk about, but that looks is not is not the case. I have been able to get lots of articles to talk about and now that I have been doing this for 35 weeks now I have gotten to the point where recording and editing is nowhere near the laborious task it once was. What used to take me days to do now takes a few hours and it is getting better all the time. I find that I have time to do other things like gaming, and spending time with my wife. Does this mean that I have sacrificed quality, no. I like to think I have also been able to elevate the quality of my work, which I think shows with every podcast released. I am not being over confident either. I still take time and enjoy doing what I do. So as time goes on I will keep at it, though I may look at changing the release schedule a little. This is mostly to make sure I get some due time off, and I develop a new project I am working on. This will tie into the podcast and, hopefully, mean I can provide content almost 24 hours a day however I don't want to get to far into this as I still need to develop that idea more.

Thank you everyone for your support, and for stopping by.

Today we talk about what it is to be a maker. Are you one? We like to think most people are in some form, even though they are not aware of it. We also talk about the new CAP Project and an awesome new 3d printing breakthrough to help people in need of bone grafts.

Happy Happy, Joy Joy

It happened later than I wanted, but I finally got my computer up and working again. It is nice being able to work from my desk again though I can say I was surprised at how well I was able to adapt to using a laptop to do all of my work. I know it was only down for just over a week; it did feel quite a bit longer than that. To top things off I got a cold. The nice thing is that it is a long weekend so I can sleep a lot if necessary.

I should finally be able to print tomorrow. What should I print...? I have a few things in mind. Past that there is not much else to say this week. Have a good Labor Day.

Thank you everyone for your support, and for stopping by.
