Didn't I just do this?

It feels like I just did this yesterday. I guess that is what happens when you have a ton of things to do, but so little time to get them all finished. It all comes down to adjusting and overcoming though. This happens every year and I have learned there is no need to get 'freak out' when it seems like nothing is going to get finished. I know the busy season will slow down soon enough, however it will be peddle to the metal until then. I really don't have to much to say at this time except that I can not say thank you enough to everyone who have send me emails. I appreciate it and read and answer every one when time permits. Besides that I have to get going, but I will be back again next week to do more of the same.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thanks for stopping by.

Do the things!

The weeks seem to go by faster and faster in the summer. So many thing to do no matter where I turn. It does not matter if it is at work, at home, or with anything else I have going on. Podcast included. This is not a complaint, because there was a time when I would have liked to have had something to do, however I do wish I had more hours in the day to get it all done. No matter though, things move along, projects get finished, more get and added, and the cycle continues. It's all good and keeps me and my mind fresh.

Lately I find myself being called into my shop to get some projects started that I have been looking at for the last year. One of those projects is for my wife. It is one of those things that should have done a year ago, but the time has really helped me decide how I want to do design said item (yes I know I'm being vague mostly because it is a surprise and she reads this . - Hi honey!). I know I could have used 3d modeling software to help with this, but I find some things are more fun using the image I have in my head. That is generally how I do the Halloween props build. I will be sure to post progression shots as I start working on it.

I will be spending some time this Tuesday with the North Idaho Computer Users Group doing a 3d printing demonstration and discussion. This should be interesting, exciting, and a little frightening. This will be the first live thing I have done with 3d printing, though I do have more planned. The nice thing is that I was part of the group several years ago, but because of some life events it was one of those things I just had to stop going to. I have been in contact with the members from time to time, but it will be nice to attend a meeting again and see how things have been coming along. Come on by if you are in the area.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thanks for stopping by.

Pains

This last week was a tough one. I spent the first few days dealing with depression. Just after I got over that, and about the time I started my weekend, Andrew dropped the bomb on me that he had to step down from the podcast. This was not expected but, as things go, was not the worse thing he could have told me. I wish him well, and hope everything gets better. I am sure the decision was not made lightly since he was just a part of the show as I am. The good news is that the show will still move on, though I will need to make sure adjustments not to mention get used to talking to myself. Who knows maybe the cats will help. They are... good... at that. So, while my work load will increase, I don't think it will be anything I can't handle.

Thank you everyone for their support, and thanks for stopping by.
